Movement & coordination
Today we had much fun moving forward and backward on scooters. We also practiced walking heel to toe and with beanbags on head on the bench. For some more capable kids, we experienced moving our body along the bench with arms pushing.
Exploration
Today we looked at the letter "M" and explored magnets. We made predictions on what items would be magnetic or not. We tested our predictions and learned that certain kinds of metals are magnetic."
Art & Craft
Today we made a moon for the letter M. Students decorated the moon using glitters, sequins, and a star.
Drama
Today in Drama class, we learnt about the letter M. M is for mouse and many more words too. We read the If you give a mouse a cookie and If you take a Mouse to the Movies by Laura Numeroff and have them acted out the story.We learnt to be nice little mice that do house chores and work hard in school.
Music
Today, we learned about rhythm. We listened to a few songs that require active listening. |
