Movement and Coordination
Today in class we reviewed our star jump routine briefly and then moved on to learning how to perform marching and saluting exercises. After our exercising and stretching, we proceeded to learning the hokey pokey dance and then ended class with a game of Pencil/Teepee Game.
Exploration
Today we looked at the letter "M" and explored magnets. We made predictions on what items would be magnetic or not. We tested our predictions and learned that certain kinds of metals are magnetic.
Art & Craft
Today we made a moon for the letter M. Students decorated the moon using glitters, sequins, and a star.
Adventure
Today we talked about words that start with the letter M and explored Magnets. We talked about the two poles, north and south, and what objects attract to magnets. For activities, we used magnets to try to pick up different objects.
Music
Today, we learned about rhythm. We listened to a few songs that require active listening.
Drama
Today we read the story of Daniel and the Lion Den. The students identified the main characters and discussed what happened to each of them. |
