Music
Today in music, we played a listening game called, "Name that Instrument." We also learned a new song called the Butterfly Song and used our instruments to keep time while reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Exploration
Today in exploration class we talked about the 3 Rs of Recycling: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We discussed what each of these mean and how we can practice them at home. We also colored a poster to help us remind ourselves to do these things at home.
Drama
Students created their own scenery for the story "Wow, said the Owl" and made owls hand puppets. After that, we sang a song using the puppets that we made.
Arts and Crafts
Today we learned the letter P. We made a pizza out of paper clay and decorated it with red paint and toppings made out of colored paper.
Movement
Today in class we reviewed our lounging exercises and then moved on to learn the "high knees" exercises. After exercising and stretching we played a brief game of animal running and finished off class with a game of four corners.
