Drama
Today in Drama class, we learnt about the letter T. T is for toys and many more too. We read the Too Many Toys by David Shannon and discussed about cleaning up after ourselves after playing with toys.We acted out some actions of what we do at the beach since it is beach day. We also learnt a song about letter T.
Music
Today we learned two new songs, "Beach Blast," and "Jesus You're My Superhero". We also reviewed the "Butterfly Song" and "Let Your Light Shine."
Exploration
Today we continued to explore the 5 senses, but we focused on our sense of touch. We learned a variety of words that we can use to describe what we touch. We practiced using these words by having people touch something and try to have the class guess what it is by the description.
Arts & Crafts
Today we learned to make an arts and craft project for the letter S. We made a Swan with hand printing and painting, and crayons. The children were able to continue experimenting different ways to use paint.
Movement
Today we had beach fun. We enjoyed parachute activities, beach volleyball and beach football.
Since it is Beach Day today, we also took some class photos with the students in their beach attire!
