Adventure Activities - Today we had a Relay Race with spoons
and ping pong balls.
Stories and Drama - We
planned our "trip" to the beach but due to "bad weather" we
stayed in and played in our imaginary beach.
ART - Today
in art class, the red class will be completing their tree paintings by finger
painting the background. The yellow class will learn to weave patterns with
yarn.
GAMES AND MOVEMENT The
children are playing soccer and “Doctor, Doctor”.
Music Today we are learning
the first two verses of the Crayon Song
and doing the coloring sheet that goes with the song.

Adventure Activities The
children are playing red light/ green light today.
Stories and Drama - Today. the kids will be continuing
learning with The Tale of Three Trees by using their imagination to explore the
story and act different sections of it out.
MUSIC Today
we will be reviewing all the songs learned so far, as well as the solfege and
instruments. We will also play one of the games they learned in the session or
try charades.
GAMES and MOVEMENT -. Today's
theme is having leaders for each team for strategic planning, just as God
has a plan for each situation in our lives. We played
ultimate frisbee (replacing soft foam balls for frisbees) to illustrate the use of planning ahead as to how teammates will be set
up during the game.

ART –On Wednesday, we will
be using crayons and watercolour paints to create pictures. It will be
interesting to see how these two mediums work together to make interesting and
beautiful pieces of art!
