Music
Today in music, we played a listening game called, "Name that Instrument." We also learned a new song called the Butterfly Song and used our instruments to keep time while reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
Exploration
Today in exploration class we talked about the 3 Rs of Recycling: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. We discussed what each of these mean and how we can practice them at home. We also colored a poster to help us remind ourselves to do these things at home.
Drama
Students created their own scenery for the story "Wow, said the Owl" and made owls hand puppets. After that, we sang a song using the puppets that we made.
Arts and Crafts
Today we learned the letter P. We made a pizza out of paper clay and decorated it with red paint and toppings made out of colored paper.
Movement
Today in class we reviewed last week's exercises of highknees and then moved on to doing our own little mini-trampolines. Afterwards we played a game of animal escape, then moved on to a game of four corners, and finished off with a little bit of creative yoga.
