Drama
We read "Too Many Toys" by David Shannon today, then children created their own toys. They were given time to play with the toys they created, then they exchanged and shared their toys with a friend. We had shown them a few toys that were made with recycle materials to let them know that we can be creative and protect our world by creating our own toys using recycle materials at home.
Exploration
Today, we explored ramps. We discussed where we see ramps and how they are used. For activity, we experimented different objects in small groups to see which would roll down the ramp the easiest, and tested the ramp at different heights.
Arts & Craft
Today we learned the letter R. Each student decorated a rainbow with colored paper and cotton balls as clouds.
Movement
Today in class we reviewed our trampoline jumping and practiced our yoga stretches with scerene music. After our exercise and stretching, we moved on to dancing along with the song "If you are a kid". With our dance out of the way, we ended the class with the game "doggy doggy where is your bone"
Music
Today, we are continuing to learn about our manners. Today we talked about the importance of please and thank you and focus on the importance of being thankful for the things in our life. We also watched a read aloud of the book The Polite Elephant by Richard Sarry. We ended class with a colouring that said "Give thanks with a grateful heart."
