(July 23) Ages 5-6: Yellow Groups A-E

Group 1
ART class, the red class will be making paper chain caterpillars with recycled paper and the yellow class will be finishing up their self portraits by coloring them in with color pencils.
MUSIC:  We are learning the song 'Rolled Away" and how Jesus want's to take things we worry about from us so we can rest and trust in Him.  We'll also do a color sheet.
Adventure Activities: Relay Races with Bean Bags and Red Light Green Light
Games and Movement: Today's theme was helping others as God created Eve to help Adam. The movement games were"'man-in-the-middle" to illustrate that after being 'caught' they were to help the catcher catch others and the game 'back-to-back' to work together.
DRAMA:  Children will be given different scenario and they will make up their own dialogue and use different puppets on sticks or finger puppets to act them out. 

Group 2
Art  Today they continued their project: drafting their own pictures, then cutting and sticking to create their own picture.
MUSIC- Today we started class by reviewing what we learned yeaterday,  which is solfege nd the song "King of the Jungle." After that, we learned a new song called "Awesome God", and played a new game, Follow the Leader!

Adventure Activities: Day 3 Theme: God created Eve to help Adam. We can help others. We will review the Creation Story from yesterday. We will talk about how God created all animals- male and female, but Adam was alone. Eve was created to be a help for Adam.Activity: Game "Man in the Middle" and team games using the bouncy ball.

DRAMA:  The students are making clocks to go along with the story of the Grouchy Ladybug.
