The 7-10 Year Olds had a great day!
Today in games and movements ( 7-10 ) the teacher set up an obstacle course relay race for the kids.
IN ART Today we will begin our art experimentation with a fingerpainting project. We will use our hands and other materials to create textured painted backgrounds which we will use tomorrowto create a mixed media poster.- Mr Tim
IN GAMES AND MOVEMENT today we learned the importance of communication when working as a team through playing the game Look, Go, Create. In this game one person looks at a picture or object and communicates to their team how to draw that item but not what the item is.
In Music the teachers and students were introducing Patch the Pirate and learning one of his character songs, You Go First. They were learning the idea that Jesus taught us to put others before ourselves.
Group 2 Art students made designs on their rocks (Little things that God created such as ladybugs, bees, frogs,etc.) They learned about God's character: Love, All-knowing, All- Powerful and All-Present. The Kids will continue to work on their rocks.
The drama classes made posters about how and when we use drama. It will be an exciting and informative time!
