Games & Movement
Today we had fun exercises with hula hoops. The most exciting activity is horse run. Kids pretended to be horses (inside hula hoops) and horsemen (outside hoops) both holding hands together. They cooperate to make a fun horse run! We also played a game called four corners.
Adventure Activities
Today we talked about the letter O and explored the Ocean. We discussed our experiences, as well as what we see, feel, and do at the ocean. We also explored islands. For activities, we experimented between salt and fresh water, and explored waves in an ocean bottle.
Music
Today, we played a listening game called "Name that Sound." We sang together and played instruments in a marching band.
Drama
We read If You Give a Pig a Party and If You Give a Pig a Pancake by Laura Numeroff. We also acted out eating pancakes.
Art
Today, we continued with our letter "O" and made an octopus project, in which the children could experience different materials like yarn and sequins. They also learned about different words that start with O."
