Group 1
Stories and Drama - Children work collboratively in groups to create the scene from "Jesus Calms the Storm" Mark 4:35-41. Just as God has power over nature, we are responsible for our actions.
ART - Today in art class, the red class will be assembling their paper chain caterpillars and the yellow class will be making paper flowers with tissue paper and yarn.
GAMES and MOVEMENT - Day 4 Theme: God wants us to be helpful. God wants us to work together with others. We will discuss the story of Noah's Arc, and how they had to work together to take care of all the animals. We will play different relay games using cones, bean bags and a hula-hoop.
MUSIC - Thursday we are learning about the song "One Door to Heaven" -  Then we are reviewing all of our songs.
ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES – Today we did spoon relay races.

Group 2
STORIES AND DRAMA -  We will be finishing up the ladybug clocks and acting out different animals from the book.
MUSIC - We'll be reviewing the songs learned earlier this week before teaching two new songs with actions: "The Itsy Bitsy Spider" and "Hockey Pockey". We will also be playing a game called "Musical Corners" where every time the music stops playing the students will have to run to a corner.
GAMES AND MOVEMENT - We will be moving on from our lesson on helping others and learning about team worktomorrow. They will have to go through an obstacle course/relay race and work together as a team to get through it.
ART We will be putting the finishing touches on our Eric Carle style art projects.  We have been enjoying looking at a variety of Eric Carle drawings for the past 2 days, and we have learned that it takes a lot of time to make this kind of art. It has been lots of fun: painting, designing, cutting, pasting, and decorating our work!

ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES –  We played North pole/ South pole.
